PREVENTION

Prevention

Violence against women is preventable. At RWRC, we work to address the underlying causes of gender-based violence by promoting gender equality, human rights, and respectful relationships within families and communities.

Through awareness campaigns, community outreach, educational programmes, advocacy initiatives, and capacity-building activities, we engage women, men, young people, institutions, and community leaders in preventing violence before it occurs. We also strengthen the capacity of local stakeholders to identify risks, respond effectively, and promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and equality.

By investing in prevention, we help create safer communities where every woman and girl can live free from violence and discrimination.
